From a young age I\u0026rsquo;ve always been thinking about the why and how of pretty much anything interesting and this hasn\u0026rsquo;t stopped growing up. The \u0026lsquo;punishing\u0026rsquo; aspect refers to the mild headaches caused by diving into topics and trying to truly understand them. Although it may sound negative at first, I loved the feeling of learning something new as I\u0026rsquo;m sure many of you can relate to.\nMy background # It made total sense then to go for a career in science, which I did for about 18 years. I ended up specializing in proteomics and helping with fundamental research on the process of cell division and cancer.\nHowever, like I mentioned, my interest is very broad and one day I decided to buy a telescope. My love for science extended to astronomy as well and after having picked up the hobby of astrophotography, I became hooked on technology and software development.
